Important Information

Credit Card Security

Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd uses Thawte security certificates to provide a secure environment for the authorisation of credit card transactions over the Internet. Confidential information including client credit card details are encrypted the moment they are transmitted from the client's browser to the banking network using industry standard SSL 128-bit RC4 encryption technology.

A client's credit card details are not stored anywhere on the Internet. Confirmation information is sent via the same encryption technology back to the client's browser. These secure processes provide clients with peace of mind when purchasing online.

Credit Card Fraud

Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd takes fraud very seriously and in an effort to protect our customers and enhance our service we have implemented the following procedures:

  1. We record your IP address and the exact date and time of your order in our database.
  2. Repeated failures to obtain authorisation from the credit card authorities will result in the details of such an event being automatically referred to the relevant authorities.
  3. Customers will be required to provide appropriate identification with their first purchase from Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd. This can be fax copy of a credit card, along with a current drivers licence that matches the delivery address or a passport. The name on the identification must match both the order and credit card details used. Smaller orders may be verified by other means.
  4. Subsequent orders will be subject to random verification, unless credit card details are updated or changed.
  5. Shipping names and addresses will be verified using a variety of means before products are shipped and the customer notified if there are any discrepancies.
  6. All suspected fraud will be reported to the police and the credit card issuer.

Failing these checks will result in the order being put on hold and details will be referred to the relevant authorities.

Minimum Orders

Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd has a minimum order value of $100 inc tax. Orders under this value will attract a $15 inc gst process fee.

Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd prides itself on offering an extensive range of delivery options. We strive to meet customer's delivery times and cost requirements. We pride ourselves on offering a reliable and economical delivery service.

Next Day Service

Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd offers an economical delivery service to capital cities with delivery times between 8.30am and 5.30pm on business days, if ex-stock orders are entered by 4pm the previous business day. Second business day service is available for some regional areas.

Part Shipment

Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd part ships all orders and you the customer only pay the one freight charge up front.

Please Note: Products on a single order may ship from multiple warehouses resulting in multiple deliveries being received.

Cancelled orders

Clients wishing to cancel orders are subject to an adminstration fee of $50 inc gst and will be refunded by cheque only, please contact Sales or your relevant Account Manager for more information.

Delivery Policy

Differences, Complaints, Proof of Delivery

Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd will afford a reasonable opportunity to its customers to examine goods for the purpose of ascertaining whether or not they conform with the purchase order. A period of 14 days from the date of delivery to alert Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd to non-conformity is given in the following situations:

a. Shipping of wrong/damaged products
b. Short shipping of products from a consignment
c. Missing cartons from multiple carton consignments

IMPORTANT: Someone MUST be at the address specified during working hours ( 9am to 5pm ) to accept and sign for the delivery by the courier. If the address is unattended or no one is available to sign for the delivery a surcharge may apply.

Returns Policy

Return and credit of goods

Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd has a 7 day product return policy. When returning goods for credit please contact Returns Department at returns@LES.com.au to obtain a Return Authorisation number (RA). RA numbers for warranty and credit returns are valid for 14 working days only. All products returned for credit must be in pristine, unopened condition with all seals intact. Opened, damaged or soiled product will not be accepted.

All inward freight is the sender's responsibility. Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd will not cover the cost of freight. Please return the product to our warehouse (see details below) with the RA number clearly written on a sticky label on the outside of the shipping carton - do not write directly onto the carton. If the RA number cannot be identified the product will be returned immediately at your expense.

Any refunds will not be paid until after such time as goods returned have been receipted in our warehouse and inspected. This process normally takes four to five business days. Once this is completed a cheque for the refund amount excluding any restocking fees, freight or other costs will be posted. Refunds will not be paid on goods that have been opened, damaged or soiled.

*Clients wishing to return goods will have to pay a restocking fee, please contact Sales or your relevant Account Manager for more information.

Special Conditions

Products supplied on a "No Return" basis cannot be returned to Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd unless the product is faulty within the warranties imposed by statue and which cannot be excluded by agreement. Products sold on the "No Returns" basis may include:-

  • All Compaq products
  • All Fujitsu Hard Drives
  • All Hewlett-Packard PC, server & notebook products (inc. accessories)
  • All Hewlett-Packard UNIX products
  • All Honeywell OEM products
  • All IBM hardware products
  • All Intel CPU's, OverDrives, Graphics Cards & Motherboard products

•  All Kingston Memory product

  • All Microsoft OEM products
  • All PGP Corporation products
  • All Quantum drives
  • All Storagetek products
  • All Toshiba products

Dead On Arrival Products (DOA)

Should a Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd product be received which is "dead on arrival", the Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd Returns Department must be notified, either by phone or fax, within 5 working days of delivery. Proof of purchase is required and should be faxed to Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd.

Contact the Returns Department and advise the date of purchase, the Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd order number and the serial number of the product. Once we have identified the product, a Return Authorisation (RA) number will be issued.

We will arrange for the goods to be shipped to our office. Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd will not be liable for the freight of the goods. The RA number should be clearly written on a sticky label placed on the outside of the shipping carton - do not write directly on the carton. If the RA number cannot be identified, the product will be returned immediately at the sender's expense. If proof of purchase is required, a copy of the sales invoice must be included with the shipment. Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd will replace the product within five working days of its receipt, (although exceptions to this may occur from time to time). Replaced products will be returned in their original packaging. If a product returned as "dead on arrival" is found not to be faulty, you (the customer) will be charged a no-fault fee of $100 inc gst.

When returning a product please fax us a completed Returns Application Form

It is the customer's responsibility to return defective / cancelled products to Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd. This is irrespective of the product being classified as a DOA return. Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd is responsible for the return of replacement to the customer at Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd's expense.

Discontinued Products

Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd will, under instruction from its vendors, discontinue some products from time to time. Your right to return these discontinued products may be limited.

Warranty Repairs

There is no charge for repairing products covered by warranty.

All software products are covered by 7 day warranty from the date of purchase by the end-user. The customers should be aware that any failure of software products due to misuse of the product or hard disk failure is not covered by warranty.

Please contact the Returns Department and advise the date of purchase, the Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd order number and the serial number of the product. You can contact us at returns@LES.com.au.

Repairs handled by Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd

Please supply the Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd order number, product information and serial number of the product. Once the operator has confirmed the details a Return Authorisation (RA) number will be issued. This number must be used in all future correspondence relating to the return. The RA number is valid for ten (10) business days. The customer is responsible for freight to the Distribution Centre - Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd will be responsible for the return freight of the product as soon as it has been exchanged.

Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd will exchange the product within 5 working days of its receipt, (although exceptions to this may occur from time to time, for example depending on stock availability).

Where the product is exchanged only the components received will be replaced and returned in the packaging, as Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd received it.

Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd recommends that product returned by post should be sent by registered or certified mail. Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd accepts no responsibility for loss or damage occurring in transit or return to Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd. Logical Effective Solutions Pty Ltd reserves the right not to effect any Third Party deliveries.
